On Wednesday-December 9-Students will have their tests on possessive nouns. Please review the following vocabulary for this test.
Singular Noun - one person, place or thing
Plural Nouns - 2 or more persons, places or things
Proper Nouns - A particular person, place, or thing
Singular Possessive Noun - A singular noun that shows ownership, and has an 's after it.
Plural Possessive Noun - A plural noun that shows ownership and ends in s'.
Irregular Plural Possessive Noun - A plural noun that shows ownership but ends in 's.
Using the following list of nouns, please place in the proper definitions above.

REMEMBER NOUN POSSESSIVES SHOW OWNERSHIP - FOR EXAMPLE TREE'S LEAVES, IT IS NOT THE NAME LIKE OAK TREE. WHEN TALKING ABOUT THE POSSESSIVE NOUN, IT IS THE FIRST NOUN IN THE PHRASE - FOR EXAMPLE TREE'S IS THE POSSESSIVE NOUN.
ONE LAST HINT-if the singular possessive noun ends in s and the word has one syllable, then it is spelled boss's. If the possessive noun ends in s and has two syllables then it is spelled Jenkins'.
